Just got an email in French, which my French was mostly too rusty to understand. The only bit that made any sense to me was the very last sentence, ‘Vous remercions de votre comprehension’.

I'm sorely tempted to mail back and demand ‘Quelle comprehension?’

Thanks, but on closer inspection it looks as if it was some sort of auto-reply, probably from someone I didn't even mail but a virus pretending to be me did, so I'm sure I can get by without knowing its contents. I just enjoyed the irony of a mail I couldn't understand thanking me for my understanding :-)
