Yes, indeed. Another company might perfectly well have claimed no knowledge of anything, refused to answer my questions until I'd stayed at home solidly until 5:30 and it still hadn't arrived, and then cheerfully admit that they'd known all along nothing was going to be delivered to me today. I've had it happen before.

So I've kept the thing on order with them, rather than (as I might have done under other circumstances) switching it to someone else on general principles.
