I'm pretty much with you on this. Jack's Family started off promising, but after that it was all just more of the same. Would have been a much better gig if half an hour of Jack's Family's time had been given to Skelliga. Oh, and if the Portland had actually had some decent beer on.

Jack's Family's problem was lack of variation in texture, pace, and mood. Everything seemed to be taken and full-ahead breakneck speed, all with very much the same "Heavy Eighths" rhythm, too.
