Not actual doom doom, that is, just a huge bustling Calling with huge numbers of people at it.

Normally my Calling behaviour goes through three phases: (i) wander round saying hi to people, then either (iia) chat to one or two of them at greater length or (iib) feel left out because they're all preoccupied with other things, and finally (iii) wander round saying goodbye to them again and go home. Phase (iii) usually starts shortly after 11, when I'm in my normal need-sleep-for-work-tomorrow mode.

This time there were so many people there I wanted to say hello to that phase (i) didn't end until nearly midnight, by which time I thought I'd better move straight into phase (iii) if I wanted to get a sane amount of sleep. What absolute chaos. But entirely in a good way. Lots of nice people, hugs, and so on. Mmmm.
