I've just gone to Boots and picked up my new glasses.

This is the first time I've had new glasses since I was in the sixth form, which must have made it 1992 or 1993 – so I've been wearing the same pair for about ten years until now. It feels very odd to be wearing something completely different on my face. I expect I'll get used to it sooner or later, but for the moment, *eek*.

Now I think I'll put the new specs to the test by coding for the rest of the day. :-)
