So that was a pretty peaceful and relaxing Christmas, spent mostly at Mum's with a visit to Dad on Boxing Day. Did very little; read books, helped Mum do a jigsaw, helped Dad do a crossword, faffed about a bit.
Also I cooked the Christmas dinner myself, at least mostly. I've noticed that several people have invited me round for food recently and I haven't reciprocated, and also I don't eat nearly enough roast dinners; so it struck me that if I learned to cook roast dinners myself, I could be in a position to solve both problems at once. Anyone who thinks I owe them dinner and is willing to risk a potentially disastrous first attempt, let me know :-)
Now back in Cambridge, and wondering who else is around.
