Well done. It took me bleeding forever to manage a Wizard ascension (did so in December), having previously done VBVV.

I'm trying Archaeologists now, intermittently; my last one died of lack of reflection - well, more directly due to a soldier with a wand of death in Ludios, but I know what the real problem was.
