You don't mention drugs, and I'm not sure if you're fishing for suggestions; but this year when antihistamines didn't work for me, my GP put me on Beconase nasal spray (with Otrivine to stabilise things initially) and it's made a huge difference, both to my hayfever and other allergies. It's available over the counter.

*blinks* No, I didn't mention drugs. If I had mentioned them it would have been to say that I already have some and that I suppose it might be an idea to start taking them now my hayfever has got going; but I didn't, because it didn't occur to me that an entry observing an interesting trend in my hayfever onset times over a ten-year period could be easily confused with "help, I have hayfever, what drugs are good?" :-)
