The leaflet will be a teaser - blame it on bastard bloody copywriters. I speak from the position of being one of them. A lot of the rest is down to lazyness or a lack of objectivity. Most writers will agree that to say something in 50 words is harder and takes longer to write than to say it 250. Saying it in just 10 is even more difficult. Well it is if you don't want to lose your entire audience. I suspect the word 'nightclub' is really out right now so they wouldn't even dream of putting it on a flyer - or no one would come.
