I'm not good with IPA, but going by your informal description you've got everything right except the first vowel, which is long as in "faith".

Somehow this polite and honest response to someone providing them useful information just kind of sums... it all up.

I mean, I understand *his* position but they could have a field for comments, for particularly good or bad reviews. You could suggest it except, well, you couldn't.
