I got a card through the door In September and rang to arrange an appointment for my week off in October. Too busy then, so booked for December and took a day off. They rang the day before to cancel. Rearranged for February, stated the time as 6-8pm. Got home from work, found a card that said they wouldn't be able to come tomorrow, posted the day before. Rearranged for 6-8pm in April. Went out, came back to a card that said they'd been and I was out. Well, yes. Because I wasn't expecting them to come four hours early.
We've had cards since, telling us they're coming "between 8am and 8pm" and frankly, they can come. I won't be taking a day off again, and they can hope to come when I'm in. I'm not going to spend hours on the phone to them, I've done that and they didn't do what they were supposed to.
