HCDS is the order I put them in purely based on my card preferences. I prefer hearts, cause they're red and curvy to clubs which though curvy are black and diamonds which though red are all horrible straight lines, and spades are nasty because though slightly curvy they have a sharp point and are black.

This dates back to playing patience as a child and that was the order I'd put the suits in when I took them off. My mum though puts them in a different order (though also alternating colours)
