Reasons why Red Hat 9 is feeble, #753

On my work machine, I've just discovered, /usr/share/dict/words contains no uncapitalised words beginning with ‘x’.

(Debian doesn't do much better, but Red Hat takes the cake.)

Cheating at word games does seem to be one of the primary uses of /u/s/d/w, doesn't it?

Wot no xylophone?

Including, at least for me, "xerography's"

Which intrigues me, one, as I don't know what xerography means (possibly the study of making photocopies), and two, how many times in the history of the world would anyone use xerography in the genitive?

Reason why Red Hat 9 is feeble: dropped notify

Nothing is important after that. Or at least nothing I'm going to be awake for.
