By popular demand, here are three photos of my new haircut. (I feel horribly vain just posting this, but people did ask…)

That was quite fun; it's probably the first time I've ever made a serious effort to take a picture and have it come out just right. I'm sure I could have done better given a few well placed lights, the foresight to shave immediately before the photo shoot, and most importantly someone else to hold the camera instead of having to use the self-timer thingy, but those pictures look believably like me so I reckon they'll do.

Yes, I noticed that. Puzzling. If the light had been behind me when I took the photo, I'd have understood it, but all the lights were in front of me so I'm baffled as to how that happened.

(Since you're the photography expert round here, I was rather hoping you'd have an explanation, actually :-)

I don't know, I might have to inspect you first in good light before I pass judgement :)

Be in the pub this evening and you can find out for yourself :-)

(It's a lot more furry and stroky now than it was at the time. I think washing it twice has helped a lot.)
