It's clearly the year for me to be buying video display devices.

Already this year I've bought a large flat-screen monitor; I expect to buy another one next month for my other computer; and this morning I went out shopping, and came back having spent a moderately silly amount on a small piece of paper, which I should be able to wave at Currys on Tuesday and get a wide-screen TV in return for it. I don't think there's any particular reason why all of these have happened in the same six-month period, but I suppose there might be some karmic wossname sitting in my star sign broadcasting a general ‘large display screens’ vibe…
