Gaah. Time zones should be abolished.

Yesterday I was kept at work rather later than usual due to a conference call with people in the USA, which started at 4pm (our time) because we had to wait until they were all up, and then dragged on for hours. Today I get in and read my mail, and find that people are planning a conference call to Japan discussing matters in my area of expertise starting rather earlier in the morning (our time) than I'd like. Nobody has yet requested that I get up early to be part of this, but I have a nasty suspicion it's only a matter of time. (No pun intended.)

Yesterday's conference call irritated me particularly because I'd already got up extra early in the morning to go to the doctor before work. As it turned out the doctor took one look at my back and said ‘you need an osteopath, here's the name of a good one’ and that was it. For this I got up early… *sigh*

which osteopath was that recommendation for ? i'm still feeling very pissed off with the osteopath i went to, as i still have a dead leg two weeks on ...

(and doctors are meant to give you two or three names, as they're not supposed to outright recommend a private practitioner or something).
