Happy New Year!

Owing to my friends being divided into too many groups, I started the evening by driving to Sion and Janet's party, spent a couple of hours there, then moved on to Richard and Louise's in Duxford where I got drunk, crashed overnight and have now driven back to Cambridge.

Sion and Janet's was very crowded. I'm glad I did that one first and then went on to Richard's where there was elbow room, or else I might have got slightly claustrophobic by the end of the evening. Serves them right for having so many friends :-) And apparently I missed a piece of Big News by leaving that party early, but that was OK because there was news at the other one as well. Goes to show.

Today I have eaten a large breakfast, played R&L's newly acquired board game Traders of Genoa (quite fun provided you don't mind arguing a lot), and done nothing else. I'm going to choose to see that as an achievement :-)
