My life is becoming steadily more hectic. This was the last thing I needed.
I'm still doing pizza-with-geeks on Mondays, the Calling every other Tuesday, pubbing with other geeks on Thursdays and watching Doctor Who at the Gallery on Sunday afternoons. In addition to this, recent weeks have added juggling on Wednesdays, and I've just arranged to start spending at least some of my Saturday afternoons watching my new B5 DVDs with a few friends. Someone's usually throwing a party of some sort most Saturdays; that only leaves Friday night and every other Tuesday that I'm not already booked for something. And on Friday nights I'm often tired from a week of work...
On the plus side, it means I don't tend to spend very many evenings sitting on my own and moping. On the other hand, when I want to spend an evening sitting on my own and doing something useful, I've almost always got to cancel something else in order to do so.
This isn't so much a problem at the moment, as a problem waiting to happen. The next time something else appears on my busy schedule, there will be tricky decisions to be made...

Yes, most of those things are optional, and missing one instalment of them for a one-off something else is perfectly reasonable. This is not what worries me. What worries me is what will happen the next time I have a regular commitment to try to squeeze into my schedule; while I'm perfectly willing to miss individual instances of all my current stuff, I wouldn't want to ditch any one of them completely.
As for why you weren't aware of the B5 viewings: I mentioned them in a previous LJ entry, and LNR spotted that and asked to be included, so why you didn't do the same is a question only you can answer :-P
(I admit I didn't send out a mass mail calling for interested parties. If I had done, I imagine I would have got more responses than I can sensibly fit in my living room. As it is we have seven people on the list, which will already require two people to sit on the floor if everyone ever manages to be free at the same time. This hasn't happened yet, but it might at some point...)

Wow. Given the size of modern hard disks that's a _lot_ of email :)
And the reason I didn't reply to you mentioning the B5 thing in your lj was I knew you'd already mentioned it to me in person and was assuming that you'd be emailing people to actually organise it.. YA Becky AICMUKP5 :)
