Phew.
The head of our division just walked into the room I work in, and announced that nobody in this room was going to be made redundant. So, not only do I get to keep my job, but I don't even have to wait until Friday to find out. Rock.
Even before this announcement, I was feeling all bouncy and energetic and happy today, which rather surprised me because I was expecting to still be short of sleep. I wonder if I might have had a mild cold over the past few days, in addition to the more obvious reasons for losing sleep (heavy wind and going back to work), which would explain why I suddenly feel better despite not having done any catching up last night. Still, not complaining...
Calling was good last night, although it would have been better if I hadn't needed to leave to get some sleep just as more people were turning up :-/ Still, lots of nice people (more than average in fact), and a generally enjoyable evening.

And don't worry, it was nice to see you even briefly. We weren't being terribly sociable with everyone else anwyay ;-)
