Uuuuurgh.

"Off work," I told Gareth just now, "due to uuuuurgh". This wasn't the form of words I used when I emailed in sick, but perhaps it should have been because it expresses how I'm feeling a lot better than anything more articulate.

Was planning to stay at home yesterday evening and feel uuuuurgh, but my headache vanished for a bit so I went out and saw Sum Of All Fears with a small group of people, which was an entertaining enough diversion. I can only assume that they filmed an earlier (in the story timeline) Tom Clancy novel after the later ones because this one needed better special effects to do it justice, or something.

The thing I really hate about being ill at home is that as long as I'm at home there are all sorts of things I'd like to be doing, but of course (a) I feel too uuuuurgh to do them, and (b) if I didn't feel like that then I'd feel guilty for staying at home and doing them instead of going to work. This leaves me inches from all sorts of things I'd love to see get done, and having to look at them remaining undone all day. Uuuuurgh.
