So, it's been a socially hectic week; in addition to the usual sorts of pubbing and pizza and the Calling, on Wednesday we had a PuTTY team outing, there were parties on both Friday and Saturday, and before Saturday's party the Gallery had a barbecue. Truly a week of much hect.

Yesterday I found a way to run my silly son-of-Tron game (tentatively entitled Nort) on an unmodified Playstation 2, so I was able to take it round to the Gallery's barbecue (since Jon has lent them his PS2) and show it off again. Some people seemed initially unimpressed but appeared to warm to it later; I admit a game ported from a BBC isn't going to be visually stunning in this era of full-immersion 3D extravaganzae :-)

My subconscious is still finding new ways to confuse me. Yesterday morning I woke up feeling awake and refreshed, looked at the alarm clock, and saw that I'd managed to lie in until 10:30. Excellent, I thought; just what I needed ... And then I woke up, looked at the alarm clock, and found that it was 7:45 and the previous awakening had been a highly realistic dream. This is getting silly.
