The other day I mail-ordered two Compact Flash cards (one to replace the recently deceased one my firewall had been using as its hard disk, and one as a spare for when that one dies).
I ordered two pairs of shoes from the same shop last week. Yesterday I came in to find a note through the door to say the package had been left with a neighbour. They weren't home, so I figured I'd pick them up tonight. Came in tonight to another note from the same delivery company, saying they'd left a second package. Yup, they had delivered them in separate packages. And left them with different neighbours. Predictably, neither neighbour is in.
