An excellent plan, with only one minor flaw

I've been running my personal alarm clock program on my Chumby for over seven months now, and this is the first morning on which it's occurred to me that it might have been a bad idea for the ‘SNOOZE’ and ‘SHUT UP’ buttons on the touch-screen to be the same size, shape and colour and to have legends starting with the same letter.

I thought I'd hit Snooze this morning, and had certainly meant to hit Snooze, but the next thing I knew I was waking up half an hour later and going to be late for work, so apparently I hit shut-up instead. Some redesign required.

Indeed; the Shut Up button should be tiny, hard to see, and require good hand-eye coordination to press. It should also perhaps flit around the screen so you have to catch it, and/or pop up a confirmation dialog when you do, optionally with a captcha like this one (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2174/2268237733_cda4a1dbb3.jpg?v=0).

doesn't that lead to you hitting snooze repeatedly, realising you have to leave in five minutes, and sprinting out of the house without ever remembering to turn the alarm /off/?

(I rather think the snooze on my phone gives up on me if I ignore it for about an hour).

I'd suggest a two-second delay after hitting SNOOZE before SHUT UP becomes enabled, to avoid accidental double-tap woes. Or insist that SHUT UP is held down for a full second or something.
