So, today I had to go to Maidenhead for a long meeting, and as a result my back is hurting from three hours of driving and my brain is in a slightly glazed state. What fun.

The pub we ate lunch in mentioned on its menu that Rolf Harris lives in or near Maidenhead. This is not likely to improve my already unpleasant attitude to the place...

Last night, post-pizza invented a version of bridge for more than four players, which was quite strange. Not that I play real bridge, but I seem to have picked up a reasonable amount of the theory from hanging around people who did a few years ago, so I gave it a go. The nice thing about inventing weird tinkered-with versions of existing games is that the experienced players of the existing games are at less of an advantage. Then again, having said that, I still lost. Curses. I'll get you next time, Gadget.
