For those reading on Monochrome, you should notice very little change except one or two formatting differences. But this diary is now (with any luck!) mirrored between Monochrome and LiveJournal, and should contain the same text in each one.

Hmmm, yes, that seemed to work pretty much as I'd planned. One or two teething troubles, but that's to be expected.

So, yes. Recent events. Hmmm.

Tuesday was somewhat stressful at work: everything I was supposed to be working on was painfully broken and I couldn't work out why, and then a colleague stopped by to let me know the deadline was two weeks earlier than I'd previously thought. Arrgh!

Fortunately, yesterday everything mysteriously started working again, so that was all right. Not an experience I really want to have too often though :-)

I spent yesterday lunchtime largely stuck in traffic, going into town to pick up the second batch of Keep Mordor Tidy T-shirts. So I've now got twenty-six T-shirts sitting at home and I need to arrange for each of them to get to its rightful owner. Someone remind me why I volunteer to do this sort of thing? *sigh*
