It should be allowed to take 'incompetence days' as well as sick days, especially in highly creative or highly important jobs (i.e. making the wrong descision might cause the company/economy to fall over). Because otherwise you just end up having to redo all the stuff which you messed up through being insufficiently competent. And you have to do all this on a day in which you're functioning properly.

Of course, now is a good time to catch up with your filing... Lose all those projects you hate.
