Perhaps. Though ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) atreic suggested that he might have had 'Hiho' in mind. (Certainly he hints at 'Hiho' in other passages about dwarf singing.) Alternatively, I wouldn't be surprised to find the official line being that there isn't one gold song, there are lots of gold songs, all with different tunes but just happening to have a similarity in lyrics... |
