Had a silly idea last night. You know those big rectangular biscuits which have ‘NICE’ written on them? I've always found those vaguely amusing, just for the idea of someone reading the biscuit, biting into it, and saying ‘Oh yes, so it is’… Last night I had the much sillier idea that someone ought to produce a similar-looking biscuit (but perhaps with more chocolate and unhealthy stuff) which has ‘NAUGHTY’ written on it. I'd buy some :-)

Other than that … well, another week has passed and I've failed to write anything in my diary for the whole time. It's strange; sometimes I write things down because they strike me as entertaining or interesting at the time, and sometimes I don't write things down because I'm too busy actually being entertained or interested by them. So if my life is too boring I won't write in my diary, and if it's too interesting then likewise. When I do write, you can be fairly sure things are sort of medium.

This week has divided itself fairly neatly into two halves, which were too boring and too interesting to write about respectively. Up until Wednesday lunchtime, I lay on the sofa doing virtually nothing; after that, feeling very refreshed, I decided to get off my backside and do something useful to PuTTY, and at roughly that point my social life swung suddenly into action with ewx's birthday do, the usual pubbing, kaet's massive LotR trip, the near-mythical Claire Withani paying a flying visit to Cambridge on Saturday afternoon and Jon A's party last night. So after several days of coding and several evenings of stuff, I was knackered again :-)
