Gosh. DId I really say that? I'm not sure that being first and formost a rugby player could ever be a good thing, although at the time I suppose we were too young to be drinking eight pints and singing ditties probably relating to a hedgehog. Not that that necessarily prevented the rugby team from trying.

However it's fair to say that, of the informal LP geek society, I would be the only one likely to make it over the gain line, let alone steal quick ball. Or to know ten synonyms for being sick.

As for Cambridge itself, I know exactly what you mean; among a large circle of my friends there I might have counted as one of the socially normal ones. A truly scary thought, and possibly one suggesting spectrum disorder.

And I'm marrying the best thing I got out of Cambridge, this summer :-)
